Before you reach out
Can you take over hosting from my current provider?
Yes. Site migrations are something we do regularly. We move the site, test everything, update DNS, and make sure it's running properly before cancelling anything on the old end. The migration is usually included at no extra cost ? we'll confirm that once we understand what's involved.
What if my site wasn't built by Heypressgo?
No problem. We take over WordPress sites built by anyone. We'll do an initial audit to understand what we're working with ? sometimes there are things to tidy up before we can manage it properly. We'll tell you what we find and what it involves before anything is agreed.
Is there a lock-in contract?
No. Monthly plans, no lock-in. We think the relationship should be worth keeping because we're doing good work not because the contract makes it painful to leave. That said, most clients stay for years because it just works.
What counts as a "content update" in the support plan?
Text changes, image swaps, new team member added, opening hours updated, a new page added ? that kind of thing. If you need something that's closer to a redesign or a new feature build, we'll scope that separately. The support hours are for keeping the site current, not rebuilding it monthly.
What happens if my site gets hacked?
We restore from backup, clean the infection, and figure out how it got in. Then we close the gap. Active security monitoring means we often catch intrusions before they cause visible damage ? but if something does get through, you're covered. We handle it, not you.
Do I still own my website and domain?
Always. Your website is yours. Your domain is yours. We manage the hosting environment ? we don't hold anything hostage. If you ever want to move on, we'll help with the transition. No bad blood, no complications.
